The Church Tower

The Tower was built in 1931 and the peal of bells installed a year later in 1932. When the Church was destroyed by enemy action in 1940 the tower remained standing and was incorporated into the rebuilding of the church in 1955. As always new recruits to bell ringing are always desperately needed and will receive a very warm welcome.

Please check back as we are scanning in the original photo of the bell frame just after the bells left the foundry in 1931.

The Ringers are led by Trevor King who is the Holy Nativity Tower Captain.

A fine view of Holy Nativity Tower. As you can see the tower is clad with copper which gives it a splendid green coloration.
