Inside the church
|
The Church of the Holy Nativity was rebuilt, after
being totally destroyed in 1940. This work was finished in 1955.
This view, taken from the main
West entrance is of the asp end of the church. |
Work has been completed at the end of 2004 to completly redecorate the church. As part of the project talented local artist Mike Long completed the apse end of the church. The original mosaic was never completed but Mike took the opportunity to paint the scene you can see in the photograph. |

This fantastic tabernacle was donated by the Sisters of Charity when they moved from Knowle to Devon. The beautiful flowers that adorn the church are arranged every week by a dedicated group of ladies who give their time to the church to keep it looking at it's best. |
